Meghan Markle looked stunning in her A-line, long-sleeve, bateau-neck wedding gown designed by Clare Waight Keller For Givenchy. Keller, the first female artistic director at Givenchy, was appointed in 2017 and presented her debut collection for spring/summer earlier this year.
Kensington Palace released a statement moments after Meghan Markle was seen wearing the gown and said that Markle “wanted to highlight the success of a leading British talent who has now served as the creative head of three globally influential fashion houses — Pringle of Scotland, Chloé and now Givenchy.”
We personally think Meghan Markle’s wedding dress was the perfect choice for the occasion. It was strong yet simple; timeless yet still completely modern. And with her subtle makeup and classic chignon, Meghan Markle looked every bit the classical beauty.
For brides looking to get inspiration from Meghan’s gorgeous look, the dresses below immediately came to mind! We could see any of these gowns from designers such as Ines Di Santo and Justin Alexander gracing aisles across the country, and they would work with any wedding theme or venue. Note: These styles are all available now.
In terms of hair and makeup, Allure has a great breakdown of Meghan’s favorite products as well as how her hair was styled by Serge Normant and her makeup look created by Daniel Martin.
