Jessica and Gavin are high school sweethearts who managed to endure a long distance relationship in college, only to reunite one summer when Gavin popped the question. “Gavin asked me to marry him on the Ferris Wheel at Myrtle Beach,” Jessica said. “He had a giant sign out on the beach that said ‘Will you marry me Jessica?’ and holding it was his parents on one side, and my parents on the other. When we got to the top of the Ferris Wheel, he leaned over and said ‘Hey do you see that sign down there?’ and then let’s just say we both needed tissues.”
Then, before they knew it, their wedding was here! Located at The Loom at Cotton Mill Place in Simponsville, South Carolina, the venue created an upscale yet rustic look. Southern details adorned both the ceremony and reception, along with deep navy accents throughout. But the best part of the wedding? Their incredibly creative hashtag: #NewMiebachOnTheBlock.
