Garden Wedding Place Setting Ideas

I just got back from this year’s BlogHer convention in Chicago, followed by a whirlwind family tour in New York and Ohio, hence the lack of posts this past week. I just got home yesterday and have been catching up with all the magazines I’ve managed to miss the past two months, including my favorite Country Living. I’m loving this garden place setting idea they put together for their July/August 2013 issue, below. It’s perfect for a spring or summer wedding, and can even be re-imagined for fall/winter by changing the foliage and colors (think more browns then green).

My two favorite things from the setup are the magnifying glass favors ($5 each), and the herb-filled vases. The magnifying glass might seem like an impractical favor for guests, but if they’re into whimsical accents they’ll definitely be able to use it for display on a desktop, bookcase, or side table. They’re also a great way to highlight a wedding table placecard, which have a tendency to get overlooked. Click here to see the entire feature.
