I’ve seen a lot of weddings in the past few years where the brides wear brightly colored shoes (in one of the wedding colors) to make their outfit pop. While I’m not totally sure if I want to do that yet (I have a size 10 foot…sometimes drawing even more attention to them isn’t the best idea), I want to stay open to the idea. I recently ordered a pair of dyeable wedding shoes online that I can take to a local shoe repair shop to dye once I figure out what direction I want to go in. The beauty of them is even if I didn’t want to dye them (I’m thinking light baby blue or a light turquoise), I could either leave them as is, or even dye them a more antique-y white.
DyeableShoeStore.com has a really surprisingly cute collection of shoes, in various heel heights and styles, for way less than I’ve seen at other online stores (like Zappo’s.) I found a pair for $49.95, below. You can’t beat that.
UPDATE: I got the style below in the mail and they were super uncomfortable. It might just be the style or my foot, but spending a whole wedding in them might be torture. Thankfully they have a return policy if you want to try them out first.
