The Report
The historic Bryn Du Mansion has dominated the landscape of a 52-acre estate in the village of Granville, Ohio, east of Columbus, since 1905. The property is managed by a commission established by the Village of Granville with a mission of historic preservation and providing program and event facilities for the benefit of the community. The total property consists of 52 acres, and there are a total of eight buildings throughout, including the Federal style Mansion, the 7,200 sq. ft. Field House built in the 1990s, a renovated Carriage House meeting space, an Art Center in the former pool house, spring house, gardener’s cottage, laundry cottage, horse barn and landscaped patios and gardens.
Woman Getting Married Says
This is an affordable venue that offers great indoor and outdoor options no matter your guest list size. I really like the charm of the Mansion venue space for smaller receptions (around 80 people or less) and the Field House is a blank canvas for larger weddings. The nearby town of Granville makes it a cute destination for out-of-town guests as well. Since there are multiple venue spaces and the possibility of other weddings the same day, you’ll want to review with the venue how that might affect your ceremony and reception.
