All-around Color
As seen at the Diane Von Furstenberg Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear show, makeup artists are taking it to the next level by extending eyeshadow all around the eye, like this blue and green version. Though these shades may feel a bit like The Little Mermaid, we’re all about dialing this trend down, and using more muted shades. Think light shades of pink or gold-shimmered neutrals.
Bronze Bride
From lids to lips, we’re loving this all bronze look that screams summer bride. By carrying the same colors throughout the face, the result is a stunningly sun-kissed look. The bronze colors on the eyes are so modern and we can see our brown-eyed girls looking pretty spectacular.
Mod-ern Lashes
60’s fan? This looks for you! Wispy lashes are so dainty, and this look is subtly daring. We’re loving the pale hues on the eyelids which let the lashes get the fame here. So, if you’re looking to channel Twiggy, we’re happy to report that you’ll be totally on-trend this season.
Smokey-Eye
One of the more standard looks here is the smoky-eye. When paired with a red lip, the result has the classic Old Hollywood glamour look. Chic, but not without drama. Plus, a smoky-eye can be done with so many different colors (we’ve even seen purple!), making this one of the more versatile looks for brides seeking drama.
White Liner
You can go as dramatic or natural with white eye liner as you want. White eye liner on your lids will look edgy and modern, while lining underneath will make your eyes seriously POP in the most gorgeous way ever.
Lilac
The expertly shaded hues of lilac on this look turn up the drama factor. Pastels, for good reason, have been a mainstay in bridal looks for many a year and we happen to love the idea of trading in pink for a great lilac lid. Liner and mascara really help to accentuate the eye color.
Shimmer Shadow
Not quite a trend, but more of a go-to for brides who want the dramatic look on the eyes without tons of shading like with a smoky-eye. The clean, neat look of this eyeliner and shadow are so glam, we absolutely love it.
Cat-eye
We’re partial to an overly-dramatic line a la Adele, but subtle works just as well! Accompanying the liner with light shadow and mascara really helps to make the eyes look larger, and when paired with a subtle lip, the eyes really standout.
