The Report
Located in the Ozark Mountains, Big Cedar Lodge was originally developed in the 1920s as a vacation home before being converted to the Devil’s Pool Guest Ranch in 1947 (named after the spring-fed pool on the property). Big Cedar Lodge, which sits on 800 acres overlooking the 43,000-acre Table Rock Lake, was converted to a “luxury lodge” in 1987 by founder John Morris and Bass Pro Shops. It features 200 lodge rooms and over 80 private cabins, with activities at nearby Dogwood Canyon Nature Park for guests include biking, horseback riding, fly fishing, archery, and wildlife tours.
Woman Getting Married Says
There are several stunning venue options at Big Cedar Lodge that could easily rank as some of the most beautiful in the world (that Top of the Rock view? That is GORGEOUS). And the prices for being a resort are actually on the reasonable side. I really like how they give you several price points for their various venues, and also offer various catering packages as well. If you’re looking for a rustic yet elegant destination wedding spot, I would definitely check this venue out.
