Vintage engagement rings are so special, that if you do end up getting proposed to with one you are a LUCKY girl!! Not only are vintage engagement rings incredibly unique, but the fact that they have a history (one that you know or not) makes them that much more awesome.
Whether you’re looking for inspiration or for one to buy right now, there are several go-to stores that you should definitely check out to find the best vintage engagement rings. While I love sites like Etsy for unique wedding finds, I have to say I would be weary of buying a vintage engagement ring from them. Not that you shouldn’t look at each shop owner’s return/exchange policy, but I feel like if you go with a reputable antique or vintage jeweler who has been in business a long time, has a showroom OR offers a great return policy in case the ring doesn’t fit or it’s not what you expected, it’s an all-around safer bet.
I’ve compiled a few of my recent favorite vintage engagement rings that I found at online retailers such as Trumpet & Horn, Erstwhile Jewelry, and Lang Antiques, above. Use the gallery to pin your dream engagement ring, or send to a friend who might be helping a certain somebody shop. 😉
