Flower Ideas: Easter Lillies

Source: Martha Stewart Weddings/Winter 2010

These are Easter lillies that are strung on fishing line and hung from dowels (which is apparently what you call a wood, plastic, or metal bar) in staggered rows. So pretty!

Flower Ideas: Tulips

Source: Southern Living Magazine/February 2010

I love tulips around the house…they’re inexpensive, last a long time, and you don’t need a lot of them to make a statement! That’s why I love this unique tulip bouquet. They’ve taken a clear bowl, and bent grapevine within it. You can buy grapevine from your local garden store. Place the tulips within the grapevine for a natural stem holder. Voilà!

Flower Ideas: Budded Branches

Source: Southern Living/ February 2010

I love the simple look of these flowering branches in assorted jars and bottles. The “best branches to show off” include Star Magnolia, Flowering Quince, Forsythia, Eastern Redbud, Yoshino Flowering Cherry, and Saucer Magnolia.
