I never think of going to Henri Bendel’s online, and after a recent visit to their website today, I’m mad that I don’t! Have they always been so affordable?! There’s a lot of great finds in their jewelery section that would be perfect as bridesmaid gifts that your gals can wear on the wedding day. Below are a few of my favorites:
I had never heard of this line until I checked out one of his sales on Gilt Groupe. I had been frantically searching for a jewelry gift for all 6 of my bridesmaids that they could wear to the wedding. I was looking for necklaces that were similar but different enough to suit each girl’s personality, and of course something that fit my budget (around $75/each) that they would want to wear again. Gilt Groupe had a great jewelry sale, where most of his necklaces were reduced by 30% or more. Perfect! This is the combo I ended up going with: 6 necklaces and a pair of earrings to match my maid of honor’s necklace.
The bright colors were a great contrast to their neutral dresses, and kind of picked up the theme of the red/bright pink flower combo we had going.
I was recently looking up more jewelry from the David Aubrey line, and thought these necklaces would make a great bridesmaid gift/something to wear to the wedding. I love them because they’re personalized: either with their initial or horoscope sign, which is cute and kind of kitschy.
As a newly engaged writer, I had a hard time finding the practical information I needed to plan my wedding. While the wedding books, magazines, and websites I read had pretty pictures, they seemed to just skim the surface when it came to providing helpful ways for me to create the wedding of my dreams. Now that I'm married, I hope this blog serves as a resource for all you other bride-to-be's, with unique ideas for wedding venues, wedding decorations, wedding dresses, and more!
