In lieu of candleabras or taper/pillar candleholders, votives are generally an inexpensive way to go. I like votives that have some kind of detail, whether they are colored or patterned, a little touch of design can go a long way.
These iron votives from Ballard Designs would look great on any kind of table: rustic or elegant. Figure you would need 5 per table. If you have 10 tables, that’s $300 (they’re $29 for a set of 5). Not super cheap, but they have enough “pizzaz” (forgive the cheesy term) to make other decorations on the table less necessary.
