- About: Venezuelan-born Angel Sanchez grew up surrounded by dresses in his mother’s clothing store, but that didn’t lead him into fashion right away. He was an architect for two years before diving into fashion in 1987. He became a famous name in Latin America, and eventually launched his New York City store in 1997. He debuted his bridal collection in 1999. Celebrities such as Salma Hayek, Giselle Bundchen, Beyonce, Eva Longoria Parker, Iman, Elizabeth Hurley and Sandra Bullock are fans of Evening, Sanchez (cocktail attire), and Bridal lines.

- I’m really loving what Angel Sanchez has created for his Fall 2011 collection. I love his use of lace while still maintaining a great shape to each of the dresses. Admittedly, I think some of his wedding dresses (especially from past collections) are a bit too stiff for my taste, but I think some of these dresses are spot-on. The ones pictured are my favorite.
