This week has been way too busy with my other job (the less fun one!), and trying to plan a 1st anniversary trip to Paris in October (more deets on that soon, as well as some fun honeymoon ideas for you in the City of Lights!), so I haven’t gotten to make as many posts as I would like. Do you sometimes feel like planning a vacation is a lot of work? I feel like I need a vacation from planning my vacation. First-world problems, I know. Give me some white whine.
In the meantime, I wanted to post this fun Birdcage Card Holder I recently saw online. It would be great to put it near your escort card table for people to clip their cards/ envelopes for you on, or you can use this for hanging your escort cards, too. BTW if you don’t know this yet, you WILL need some sort of box or holder that people can put envelopes in. Maybe it’s just a Jewish tradition, but throughout the reception people who are giving you cash as a wedding present typically hand their envelopes (which contain a card and a check) to the groom, or place them in a designated box or other holder (such as this bird cage one, below). Make sure your groom finds a safe place for them if he is given them, or if they are in a designated area, make sure someone is watching over them if you’re in a public place.
