Bridal Suite: I would recommend staying overnight in the hotel so you can just get ready there.
Size: 60-200 people
Food Service Type: Buffet/seated options
Parking: Valet, which is not included in the fee. Though, this is New York City—so people will be cabbing it.
How Will Grandma Get There? The venue is a hotel, which is super convenient (although expensive). There are of course a ton of other hotel options in the city, with less expensive options a mere cab ride away.
Extras: Bands can be brought in at no extra cost. However, if you want to bring in your own DJ, there ask that you book their in-house tech in lieu of an equipment rental fee. They will charge $100/hr for the duration of the event, plus one hour setup and breakdown. So for a 5 hour wedding you’re looking at an extra $700.
The 17-story hotel opened in 2007, but as soon as you walk inside you would think it had been there forever. With antique oriental rugs, giant fireplaces, vintage tiles, and Edwardian-era furniture, the cozy hotel looks like it’s been around since the turn of the century. It’s a favorite spot for celebs, but you would never know it due to it’s laid-back, intimate, and very comfortable yet chic vibe.
Woman Getting Married Says:
I recently took a trip to NYC for work and stayed in this hotel, and I TOTALLY fell in love with it. Everything from the location, hotel lobby, restaurant, drinks, the room itself, and even the hotel stationary was totally on-point. If you’re looking for a unique NYC venue that’s not only easily accessible for guests but has an extremely intimate and unique vibe, this is the place. The only hitch? It’s pricey. But then again, almost everything in NYC is…so if you’re gonna do it and can afford it, by all means check this place out. I can tell you the food I ate there was great, and the hotel itself is beautiful. I highly recommend it!
